ISCRAM 2013 "Integrative and Analytical Approaches to Crisis Response and Emergency Management Information Systems", May 12-15 2013 in Baden-Baden, Germany

KIT and IOSB have won the ISCRAM 2013 conference. CEDIM will support the ISCRAM 2013. The conference "Integrative and Analytical Approaches to Crisis Response and Emergency Management Information Systems" will be held from May 12 to 15 2013 in Baden-Baden and Karlsruhe. Conference Chair is Professor Jürgen Beyerer, Professor of the Institute for Anthropomatics (Lehrstuhl für Interaktive Echzeitsysteme) at KIT and Managing Director of Fraunhofer IOSB.

CEDIM organizes a track at ISCRAM 2013 related to the new field of Forensic Disaster Analyses:

Rapid integrated understanding of disasters: holistic disaster assessments in near-real time

CEDIM members are further involved in the ISCRAM as chair persons for two tracks:

Decision Support Methods and Tools for Holistic Emergency Management

Efficient Planning and Decision Support for Robust Critical Infrastructure Systems

ISCRAM is the acronym for Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management, and has been first used for the first international ISCRAM Workshop in Brussels in 2004. Since 2004, the ISCRAM Community expanded into a globally active community of researchers, academics, practitioners, policy makers with an interest in this new area.  In 2009, the ISCRAM Association was formally established as a non-profit association in Belgium. ISCRAM stands for high quality international conferences in the field of information technologies for crisis management.
